My Past, Present, and Future
I was born on January 10, 2001 in Crown Point Indiana, so I have lived in Lowell at the same house my whole life. I started my educational life at a preschool in crown point. After a year of preschool I started going to kindergarten at Lake Prairie Elementary which took me through about 6 years of my life. During elementary I was actually smart and was in lots of advanced classes. Other than my school life I enjoyed doing things like playing football, basketball, racing motocross and BMX. I mostly raced more BMX than motocross because I was really good at it. I ended up being a successful BMX racer winning many national championships. I ended up quitting because I had too many injuries and I just got tired of it. I started racing motocross after I quit BMX. I had even more injuries racing motocross than BMX. I've broken my feet several times, my ankle, my collar bone twice, my elbow and dislocated my shoulder. My parents made me quit racing for about a year, because they didn't want me to get hurt but they eventually realized that its just part of the sport and they let me start racing again. Just last year I snapped my wrist but I did that snowboarding. That wraps up my past.

Strengths, Weaknesses, and Goals
Right now i’m a freshman at Lowell high school. I honestly have no interest in school but I have no choice but to go through it like everyone else so I’m trying to get the best grades I can get a good education. Other than being in school I like to workout, ride my bike, race motocross, listen to music and hang out with friends.
By the time i’m 18 year old I hope to be a professional motocross racer because that is my passion. There are so many talented riders in the sport so I don’t know if I will achieve my goal. If not, I have no idea what i’m gonna do for the rest of my life. No other jobs interest me so i’m hoping my hard work will pay off in motocross. If I don’t end up with my dream job I’ll just go to college and do my best in school to get some type of a high paying job. I want to end up owning two houses. I want one somewhere down south so I can go there during the winter since it’s cold up north and I also want a house up north somewhere so during the summer i’m not south in the humid hundred degree weather.
Personal History
I am currently 18 years old and live in Lowell, Indiana with my mom, dad, and dog. I have an older brother - Tom who lives near us with his family. I have a dirt bike track in my back yard that I grew up using. I have played many...
I started racing when I was 4 on a pw 50. I almost qualified for lorettas on my cobra 65; I got 6th the first moto but the second moto got rained out the first day and was post poned till the next day. I ended up getting 18th out of 40 because of the track conditions I broke my feet at redbud in 2012. Right now, I am riding a kx 85 but I will soon be getting a ktm 125 or a kx 100. I will be trying to qualify next year.
Now I’m gonna tell you a couple strengths and weaknesses I have and my goals to fix my weaknesses. These strengths and weaknesses will be based off of the agency rubric. I’ll start off by telling you my weaknesses.
I think my biggest weakness is using effort and practice to grow. I usually don’t put much effort into my work and I just try to get it done as fast as possible. I usually don’t do any extra studying at home either. My goal is to start doing extra work like studying at school and at home so I can get to know and understand the material i’m learning better. Another weakness I have is growing from setbacks. When I get bad scores that make my grade drop I usually just let it go until late in the semester and then I start worrying about it two weeks before grades are due and I’m not able to get my grade up. My goal is to start staying on top of my work and doing stuff to improve after I get a bad score so my grade doesn’t drop.
Now, I’m going to discuss my strengths. I think my biggest strength is building relationships. If we get new groups I think i’m good at connecting and making friends with those people. Once I do build a relationship it’s easier to work with people and have better discussions. Another one of my strengths is meeting benchmarks. I really don’t want my grade to slip so I try to get all my work done when i’m supposed to and turn all of my benchmark assignments in on time. Overall, I just want to be able to stay on top of school so that my grades don’t drop.
